You can contact me at lisa@lisahazelden.com.
What I collect
When you use the contact form, I collect your name, email address, organisation (if you provide it) and whatever you write in your message.
When you visit the site, Squarespace collects standard analytics information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, the device and browser you use, and an approximate location based on your IP address.
Why I use it
To respond to your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to correspond with you about that work.
To understand how the site is being used and which pieces people read.
The legal basis
For responding to enquiries and corresponding about work, my basis is legitimate interests (you have contacted me and expect a reply) or, where we are working together, performance of a contract.
For analytics and non-essential cookies, my basis is your consent, given through the cookie banner.
Who else has access
Squarespace hosts this website and processes contact form submissions and analytics data on my behalf.
Google provides my email service, so any message you send me is stored there.
I do not sell your information. I share it only with professional advisers, such as my accountant or insurer, where necessary, or where I am required to by law.
Both providers may process data outside the UK. They operate under safeguards intended to meet UK data protection requirements.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to two years.
Correspondence relating to client work: up to six years after the work ends, to meet professional and tax record-keeping obligations.
Cookies
This site uses essential cookies, which are needed for it to work, and non-essential cookies for analytics.
Non-essential cookies are only placed if you consent through the banner. You can change your choices at any time using the Cookie Preferences link.
Confidential enquiries
If you contact me about a personal or workplace situation, please keep your first message brief. We can discuss how to share more detail securely if we decide to speak.
Information shared in the course of advisory work is handled under the terms we agree at the outset of that work, which are separate from this notice.
Your rights
You have the right to ask me for a copy of the information I hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it deleted, to restrict how I use it, and to object to my using it.
Where you have given consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email lisa@lisahazelden.com.
If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
